For me to fully explain this wedding day you have to know the bride. She is very specific and a planner! When we met and I asked her about the wedding day she never had to tell me “Oh! I am not sure” or “Hmm, I hadn’t thought of that”. She knew exactly what she wanted and had a vision on how to make it happen.

I was behind her 1,000% and wanted to make her dreams come true! So, when I got a text from her a few days before the wedding about how she had to tweak the setting due to concerns of a rainy day (up to 90% chance) I was bummed for her because I knew this was something out of her control. I have to hand it to her though; she was taking it like a champ! When other brides might have started a downward spiral into an inconsolable state she had a c’est la vie attitude.

Then I woke up the morning of her wedding and saw I had a text on my phone from Bridget saying she was almost positive she had the flu. Oh no! What does that mean for the wedding?! I continued reading the text; she said it was still happening, but it was going to be laid back and that I might not have to be there the whole time. Wow! What a woman! If I had the flu I would’ve just crawled back into bed and been dead to the world.

What we decided to do was cut photography the day off short a couple hours and use that for a private styled session. So you may notice that the bride does not look the same in all these photos and that’s because in a few she was carrying on while heavily medicated and the others she is healthy and primped for the occasion. Bridget, I had such a great time with you and Geoff both times! Thank you for letting me tell your story; it’s one that is not soon forgotten!
