Cheyane came to me with specific ideas in mind. First and foremost she wanted pictures she could use for Christmas cards and Christmas gifts for her loved ones. Second, she wanted great memories of her little family at this point in time. Thirdly she wanted some portraits of her and her main squeeze, Randal. Up until this point they were only in a photo together if they had taken a selfie or  from parties/weddings they had gone to together.  I was happy to help her on all 3 accounts.

Just like with any other session I had her take the lead for finding a location that she would be comfortable with and also loved. This land was very close to her and Randal’s home so there was not a lot of travel.

Oh! Remember that “little family” I spoke of earlier? Well, between her and Randal they have 3 fur-babies. In order form left to right in the photo below: Bruce, Randal, Kamo, Max, and Cheyane. That’s one good looking family!

Bruce took some warming up to the camera, but Randal gave him some pointers and they look sharp!

Once we started the couples photos the boys still kept a close eye on them. In the photo below there are 2 of the 3 pups; can you spot both?

You guys kill me with how gorgeous you two are together!

Randal had no problem making Cheyane (and me) laugh the whole time! He is such a character and so much fun to be around!

For this photo I had Randal whisper into Cheyane’s ear…little does he know that Cheyane told me what he said later that day.

Cheyane isn’t from this area of Texas originally and I thank Randal for dragging her with him down here, because she is such a joy to have around!
